A video was recently posted promoting President Biden’s Build Back Better spending plan in a cartoon that used the Schoolhouse Rock theme on social media. Care In Action posted the video showing an animated version of the $1.75 trillion Build back Better spending plan, with Nancy Pelosi and Biden holding hands.
The bill sings to the tune about being an investment bill with historic and critical investments in child care and health care, climate care, and immigration. It sings that it is all paid for. The debt ceiling was recently increased by Congress, but the whole bill has yet to be evaluated by the Budget Office.
Social media users were outraged by the bill’s massive spending and liberal wish lists and widely criticized the video.
Editor Brandon Morse tweeted that they should apologize to School House Rock Bill right away and that they don’t deserve to see their image dragged through the dirt by a lame effort at political propaganda.
The House of Reps will begin a debate on the $1.75 Trillion Build Back Better bill this week, with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer stating that he hopes to get the bill through Congress by Christmas.
