Elon Musk stated Thursday that he will eliminate spam bots from Twitter if he succeeds in his bid to make the social media platform accessible only to real people.
Musk tweeted on Thursday, “If our tweet bid succeeds we will defeat spam bots or lose trying.” Musk added that he would authenticate all humans if his twitter bid succeeds.
Tesla Inc CEO, Stephen Tesla, had expressed deep concern about crypto bots posting scam tweets on Twitter in an attempt to deceive investors.
Musk stated that if there was a Dogecoin to pay for every cryptocurrency scam he saw, then we would have 100 billion Dogecoin.
Musk said, “A top priority for me would be eliminating spam and scambots and the bot armies which are on Twitter.”
He also stated that he considered going through Twitter shareholders to purchase the social network. However, he announced that he had secured $46.5 billion to finance his takeover.
